3660532 - Exclude Contingent Workers from Team Size Calculation in the Latest Org Chart

Note: The default checked/unchecked toggle option “Include Contingent Workers” can be defined in Org Chart Configuration.

Scenario 01: In Org Chart Configuration, the option “Hide Contingent Workers in Org Chart” is disabled. (the toggle “Include Contingent Workers” is listed in Display settings and you can hide/unhide contingent workers).

Enabling the option “Include Contingent Workers”
    1 - In Org Chart Display Settings, the toggle “Include Contingent Workers” is enabled. (Contingent Workers will be listed in Org Chart with regular employees)
        1.1 - Searching by an user who has 07 employees as reports to, where 02  are Contingent workers and 05 are regular employees, the Team size calculation displayed is 07 and 07 users are visible.

 
 
Disabling the option “Include Contingent Workers”
    1- In Org Chart Display Settings, the toggle “Include Contingent Workers” is Disabled. (Contingent Workers will not be listed with regular employees)
        1.1 - Searching by an user who has 07 employees as reports to, where 02 are Contingent workers and 05 are regular employees, the Team size count displayed is still 07 and only 05 regular users are visible.

 
 
Scenario 02: In Org Chart Configuration, the option “Hide Contingent Workers in Org Chart” is Enabled. (the toggle “Include Contingent Workers” is NOT listed in Display settings and contingent workers will not be visible in Org Chart)

    1 - Searching by an user who used to have 07 employees as reports to, where 02  are Contingent workers and 05 are regular employees, Contingent Workers will not be listed/displayed anymore.
    2 - You noticed that Team size calculation is still 07 even Org Chart displaying only 05 users.

 
    3 - Team size calculation takes about 30 minutes to fully apply the changes and display the correct number.
    4 - After await suggested time, you searched again by user and now Team size is corrected based.

 
 
This behavior is controlled exclusively by the company-wide administrative setting. The user-level toggle, Include Contingent Workers, found in the Org Chart's Display Settings menu, only affects the visual display of workers, acting like a hide option and does not impact the team size calculation.
