SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3660936 - Error 401 Unauthorized on some metrics and SDA logs show error message in a different language.

Symptom

1. Some MAI collector metric to query the status of an OS service (For example - data collector: OCM: Windows Service) intermittently get an error 401 Unauthorized.

2. This metric is fails with error messages similar to this:

"com.sap.solman.agent.mai.GenericMetricCollector collectForMetricGroup failed com.sap.solman.agent.core.error.SystemException: Web Service exception occurred on Binding Provider for getCIMObject with ticket C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\work\sapcontrol_logon\logon49"

3. The stack trace in the debug logs show the exception Caused by: com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportException: Der Server hat HTTP-Statuscode 401 gesendet: Unauthorized
