3660972 - Child records are not being displayed in latest people profile

Symptom

Child records are not being displayed in latest people profile despite being displayed as normal in Manage Data and Export. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee Profile.
  2. Navigate to the Custom MDF Portlet in question. 
  3. Notice that despite data having been entered, numerous child object fields are not being seen even after hitting the "View All Option". 

Cause

The child object has a nested grouping in the UI, which is not supported in the Latest People Profile. 

Resolution

This can be fixed by amending the configuration so that the affected fields are added to the child object and by keeping the UI as a flat structure.
