3660990 - OpenAPI: Ariba API does not detect changes to sourcing events

Symptom

  • Ariba APIs (e.g.: Operational Reporting API for Sourcing, Event Management API) do not detect changes to a Sourcing Event after an action is taken, such as after an award is submitted
  • I noticed that the event's lastModified date is not updated accordingly.
  • When a GET request is executed on the Event Management API's identifiers endpoint using a modificationDateFrom and modificationDateTo filter that covers the time of the award, for instance, the API returns an empty response.
    • The expected response is a JSON payload containing the identifier of the recently awarded event.
