3661352 - The total row in the table is visible on subsequent pages with option "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" is enabled for the table.
  • The total rows in the table are visible on subsequent pages of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories.
  • Expected result: The total row should appear only on the first page of the table.
    Actual result: The total row appears on all pages of the SAC story and cannot be removed on subsequent pages.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the story in SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Navigate to the table within the story.
  3. Observe the total row displayed on the first page.
  4. Navigate to subsequent pages and observe the total row displayed on each page.

Cause

The total row is repeated on each report page because it is frozen with the table header.

Resolution

  1. Select the table.
  2. Click the table action menu ... (More Actions).
  3. Select Freeze.
  4. Unfreeze the row by selecting None.
