How to release stocks from the delivery which has been distributed to 3rd Party Warehouse?

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The delivery cannot be modified after distributing to 3rd Party Warehouse. The only way to release stocks from the delivery is to use the SOAP API.

Resolution

For Outbound Delivery:

  • If Outbound Delivery has completed Goods Issue: 

Use the SOAP API Warehouse Shipping Advice Cancel Request ‒ Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to cancel Goods Issue first and use the SOAP API Warehouse Shipping Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to complete Picking and Goods Issue with updating ActualDeliveryQuantity of each item to 0.

  • If Outbound Delivery hasn't completed Goods Issue: 

Use the SOAP API Warehouse Shipping Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to complete Picking and Goods Issue with updating ActualDeliveryQuantity of each item to 0.

For Inbound Delivery:

  • If Inbound Delivery has completed Goods Receipt: 

Use the SOAP API Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice Cancel Request – From Warehouse (B2B) to cancel Goods Receipt first and use the SOAP API Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to complete Goods Receipt with updating ActualDeliveryQuantity of each item to 0.

  • If Inbound Delivery hasn't completed Goods Receipt: 

Use the SOAP API Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to complete Goods Receipt with updating ActualDeliveryQuantity of each item to 0.
