Symptom

  • There is a requirement to restore of PostgreSQL was performed, resulting in the creation of a new instance.
  • Attempts to change the host name, user name, password, and port settings of the newly created PostgreSQL instance to match the original database were unsuccessful.
  • Other systems are unable to connect to PostgreSQL on SAP Cloud Platform due to mismatched connection information.
