3661751 - Is it possible to upload attachments on MDF custom objects for future date hire employees?

Users are unable to access or attach documents in People Profile for employees with a future hire date, even though they have the required permissions to do so.

Role-Based Permissions (RBP) does not account for inactive users, including future-dated hires who have not yet reached their hire date.

It is not feasible to upload or view documents of inactive users on MDF objects. So it is expected that RBP does not take into account inactive users.

At this point, BizX does not offer any workaround to perform any action related to upload or view documents of MDF objects for inactive user (specially if they were not ever active in the system).

An alternative that may meet the needs to upload documents for future hires is to adopt SuccessFactors Onboarding: SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding | SAP Help Portal.
