3661795 - Error Updating Job Information Country/Region-Specific HRIS Element - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

When trying to save a change in a Country Specific HRIS Element pops up an error message such as "country-of-company is not a valid field ID for element jobInfo_BRA contract-type (Parent Field for Picklist)."

1. Navigate to the Business Configuration section of Job Info in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
2. Attempt to add a new field to the Job Info configuration for any country.
3. Observe the error message: "country-of-company is not a valid field ID for element jobInfo_CHL contract-type (Parent Field for Picklist)."

This issue occurs because the field 'country-of-company' is being referenced as the 'Parent Field for Picklist' in the configuration of one of the Country Specific fields, contract-type in the case of above example. However, this field is only present in the Global Job Information section and not in the Country Specific HRIS Element. When the system validates the configuration to prevent inconsistencies, it checks the 'country-of-company' field within the country-specific section and does not navigate to the global job information to verify the consistency of fields designated as 'Parent Field for Picklist'. 

To resolve this issue, you need to insert the 'country-of-company' field within the Country Specific HRIS Element. This ensures that the system can accurately validate the configuration and maintain consistency across both the Global Job Information and Country Specific sections.
