Symptom

"Column not found" issue in table "I9 Audit Trail" story report. The error is observed when previewing the query in the data source.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Report Center.
  2. Run your report
  3. Preview the query in the data source.
  4. Observe the errors indicating "Column not found".

Cause

  • Report is imported from another instance (not standard report)
  • Objects required for the report are not present in manage data

Resolution

Make sure the points are validated:

  1. Ensure that the report is built directly within the intended instance, rather than importing it from another instance
  2. Verify that the required objects are available under Manage Data > "Report Object Configuration entities"
  3. Run the Provisioning job titled "Save Changes To Report Configuration Object Job" with the following steps:
    1. Check if the job is created. If not, created one. If yes, edit it
    2. Edit the job by adding the flag "Refresh custom schema". (make sure this option is enabled)
    3. Save and submit the job.
    4. Execute the job once.
