3661863 - Address validity & inconsistency errors during billing document creation (error R1644, VPD106, VF898)

Symptom

During billing document creation (e.g. via VF01) the following message appears:

  • "No Address Type is Assigned to Transaction for Address Determination" (message R1644)

As a consequence, the following messages may also be displayed:

  • "Address in master data for Bill-to party xxxxxxx is no longer valid" (popup message)
  • "The provided address is invalid" (message VPD106)
  • "Partner address data for function Bill-to party inconsistent" (message VF898)
