3662492 - License audit service fails due to EJBAccessException in Advanced Adapter Engine

Symptom

  • An attempt to run and consume the License Audit Service via Web Service Navigator fails with the following error: Fault String: "javax.ejb.EJBAccessException: ASJ.ejb.005045 (Failed in component: sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app, BC-XI-CON-AFW)".
  • SAP Note 2593217 - "Licensing in Advanced Adapter Engine" has already been implemented. The license.switchedOn parameter was activated as recommended, but the issue persists.
