3662554 - The Product List is not Shown, When Click on 'Add from List' Within the Sales Quote

Symptom

The active product list is not shown, when you click on the Add from List within the products section of the sales quote.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Navigation Menu and open the Product Lists view.
  2. You can see there is product list LMN (where LMN represent the product list name), which is with the status as Active.
  3. Now go to the Navigation Menu again and open the Sales Quote view.
  4. Search and open sales quote PQR (where PQR represents the sales quote name).
  5. From the General tab of sales quote PQR go to the Products section and click on 'Add from List'.
  6. The product list LMN is not shown here.

Cause

  • The Requested Date in the Sales Quote PQR is xx1.yy1.zzzz1 (where xx1.yy1.zzzz1 is the requested date value of quote PQR). Whereas the Product List LMN is having validity between xx2.yy2.zzzz2 and xx3.yy3.zzzz3 (where xx2.yy2.zzzz2 and xx3.yy3.zzzz3 are valid-from and valid-to dates of product list LMN). The Sales Quote PQR requested date xx1.yy1.zzzz1 is not between product list LMN's validity date i.e. xx2.yy2.zzzz2 and xx3.yy3.zzzz3.

  • Product List is shown in the Sales Quote depends on the Requested Date of the Quote & this date should be between validity of Product List. This is the reason, why Product list LMN is not showing in the Sales Quote PQR.

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
