3662837 - Hide "All Employees assessed" option in 9-Box Rating in Objective Competency Summary Section - Performance Management.

Symptom

  • How to hide "All Employees assessed" option when 9-Box matrix grid rating is used in Objective Competency Summary Section of PM Form
  • When accessing the 9-Box Grid (Goal Competency Summary Section) in the Latest Form Experience and enabling the option “Include Other Employees: All Employees Assessed,” the self-rating of the manager's self assessment is displayed in the view when accessed by the manager.
  • This results in the manager being able to see their own self-assessment placement along with the ratings of direct reports.
  • The issue is observed only after enabling the Latest Form Experience. When reverted to the legacy UI, the form works as expected, displaying only the assessed direct reports without exposing the self-rating.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Below are three users in this replication scenario:

    • User A (Employee)

    • User B (Employee Manager of A)

    • User C (Manager of User B / A’s EMM)

  2. Using the same form template, create two forms: one for Employee (E) and one for Employee Manager (EM).

  3. Complete the workflow so that each step scores the OCOC Summary section and routes the form to the next step, ending at the third step (User C – EM EX step).

  4. Log in as User B and open the form where the subject is User A.

  5. Observe the 9-box section:

    • On the Legacy page, only User B’s score for User A is displayed.

    • On the Latest page, both User B’s score for User A and User C’s score for User B are displayed.

Cause

  • In Latest Form Experience, the OCOC Summary section supports the “Include Other Employees” dropdown option but this dropdown does not support being configured as hidden  by the customer.

  • On the legacy form detail page, the “Include Other Employees” option is hidden by default, which restricts employees to viewing only the subject user’s self-rating. But on the latest form detail page, the dropdown is visible by default and currently cannot be made hidden. Hence this issue only occurs in Latest Form Experience.

Resolution

An enhancement for this is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release (b2605).

Workaround

Revert to Legacy Form Experience in order to hide the “Include Other Employees” option.
