Symptom

Error "No authorization for current action" is observed in the app "Create Remittance Challans" upon using the restriction type "BUKRS_BUPLA".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the app "Create Remittance Challans".
  2. Enter the applicable selection screen parameters and execute.
  3. Observe the authorization error.

Cause

The "Section Code" value passed as a parameter in the "Create Remittance Challans" selection screen is checked against the "Business Place" values maintained in the restriction type "BUKRS_BUPLA".

Resolution

  • The fix for the incorrect authorization check will be delivered in the 2602 upgrade.
  • Workaround: Maintain the section code values in the business place field for the restriction type "BUKRS_BUPLA".
