3663059 - Background Job Completes with Message: “0 Inbound Deliveries Saved”

Symptom

A background job for inbound delivery was created and completed with the message: “0 Inb. Deliv. has been saved.”

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Schedule Inbound Delivery Creation app.
  2. Select the job that was created.
  3. Click the arrow ( > ) at the end of the line to view the results.
  4. The message “0 Inb. Deliv. has been saved” is displayed.

Cause

The job was created without a Delivery Date parameter. Without this information, the system does not have the necessary selection criteria to generate inbound deliveries.

Resolution

When scheduling the background job, you must maintain either the Delivery Date parameter or the Delivery Date To (dyn.) parameter. This ensures the system can correctly identify and create inbound deliveries.
