3663078 - Understanding Free of Charge Without Price Entry in Retail Pricing

Symptom

When using the "Free of Charge without Price Entry" item category to create a trading contract, the following issues may occur: 

  • Error WV185 "No basic purchase price relevant to pricing found with schema &1".
  • Error WV186 "Calculation schema &1 of appl. &2 is not capable of price calculation".
  • Error WV105 "The number value entered is too large".
  • Error WB2B036 "Currency was not entered".
  • When multiple items include a mix of chargeable and free-of-charge items, pricing is lost for the chargeable item.
