Managing General Audit
- Enable General Audit to expand auditing coverage and gain more insight into your system.
Prerequisites
Administrator Permissions> Admin Center Permissions > Manage General Audit Configuration.

View: to access Manage General Audit feature.

Edit: to change default configurations.
- Create and Manage General Audit Requests/Reports: to create Audit Reports
- User can be given permission to All or selected Report Types
Which Reports are Available?

Data Export audit data includes events where you export data from the system. This type of audit is enabled by default and can't be disabled.

User Login audit data includes events when users log in and logout to the system, with fields as: Action (Login/Logout) and Logout Method (Time-Out/User-Initiated). This type of audit is enabled by default and can't be disabled.

Proxy Sessions audit data includes events that occur during a proxy session, so that you can see which proxy has accessed which account holder and when. This type of audit is enabled by default and can be disabled.

Page Access audit data includes events where users access the People Profile page. This type of audit is disabled by default and can be enabled.
- Delegation audit data about delegation tasks, i.e.: information on operation, delegation ID, delegation type, delegator, delegatee, subject user, status, start time, end time, and so on.
Steps to Generate the report
- Go to > Manage General Audit > Select "Audit Type" > Add Job name > Select the Username > Add Time Range > Click on Submit
The Job can be monitored in Scheduled Job Manager.
When enabling "Recurrence", some additional settings have to be configured, as any other recurrent scheduled job.
NOTES:
- General Audit Retention is centrally managed in Admin Center > Manage Audit Configuration > Audit Retention. The retention period of all general audit is 730 days by default.
