Symptom

  • All schedules with Crystal Reports fails after upgrade to BI 2025 Patch 3 with error "unknown database connection error"
  • In Crystal Designer you can see the error "cannot connect to adaptive processing service"
  • Issue is temporarily resolved by restarting APS with Crystal Reports DSL Engine service
