3663171 - missing dbmssslib.o file when building remote connection to SQL Server from AIX

Symptom

  • The file dbmssslib.o is missing under the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/exe/, required for DBCO connection.
  • Error message observed during DBCO connection test:
    "DlLoadLib()==DLENOACCESS - dlopen("/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/exe/dbmssslib.o")
    FAILED"#0509-022 Cannot load module /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/exe/dbmssslib.o.509-026
    System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist." (errno=2, No such file or directory).
