3663397 - During crossboarding, position to job info sync does not work for future dated position - Onboarding

• Position to Job Info Sync is not working as expected crossboarding, when the position has a future start date.
• In Onboarding General Settings > Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities Switch is OFF.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Admin Center > Onboarding General Settings > Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities Switch is OFF.
2. Initiate onboarding for an internal hire from recruiting.
3. Assign a new position to the onbordee with future-dated start date.
4. Observe that the Position to Job Info sync is not working.
5. The sync works as expected in EC.

Engineering team confirmed that this is expected behavior, future dated positions values are not fetched even when the rule is configured as per the implementation guide, here.

Workaround: 

1. Set 'Additional Internal Hire Activities Switch' to 'ON' in Onboarding General Settings.
2. Initiate a new candidate
3. The sync should happen also for onboardees assigned to positions with a future start date.
