3663468 - Dynamic Page number not incrementing with Table in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • Dynamic Page number not incrementing with Table with option "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to internal SAC tenant
  2. Create a story with Table with lots of data.
  3. Select option, "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" under Builder
  4. Create a Dynamic Text with Page Number on the story
  5. Save and View Story.
  6. You'll be presented with multiple pages for the Table.
  7. Scroll page on the bottom.
  8. Page Number is not incremented. 

 

Cause

This is By design, product limitation. This is because the Option, "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically", is related to Table Pagination and is not related to Dynamic Page Number, which is related to Story pages.
