3663498 - Bubble Chart not Displaying Data

Symptom

Bubble Charts not showing data and having one of the following error messages:

  • A chart cannot be provided because it contains too many categories in the color feed.
  • Unable to render the chart due to the server needing to process XXXXXX data cells, which is larger than the maximum 1,000,000 that a query is allowed to process.
  • To reduce the number of data cells the data source has process, apply more restrictive filters, and remove accounts/measures or dimension(s) from your visualization.
  • A chart cannot be provided because it contains too many data points
     

Environment

SAC

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Bubble Chart
  2. Add measures, dimensions and color
  3. One of the error messages listed above shows up

Cause

  • SAC is consuming too much data to be visualized in Bubble Charts

Resolution

  • Apply filter to charts or break down data into multiple charts
