• SAP Analytics Cloud - NEO tenant

In February 2024, SAP announced the plan to sunset the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), Neo Environment on December 31, 2028. Please refer to SAP Note 3351844 for further details.

 As part of this sunset program, we would like to inform you that all SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) tenants which currently reside on the Neo legacy platform will be migrated to a Multi-Cloud Foundation landscape by end of 2026, with very limited exceptions.

 As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best possible service and latest feature set, we will be globally harmonizing our underlying infrastructure for SAP Analytics Cloud in order to enhance the resilience, performance, and scalability of our services, ensuring that you continue to receive the highest quality experience.

Migrations will be managed by SAP via a phased approach. The timeline for your specific tenant migration depends on the region where your SAP Analytics Cloud environment is being hosted. SAP will contact the SAP Analytics Cloud administrators to alert them of upcoming migration plans. There will be one general email sent roughly 3 months prior to the potential migration date and then a second email 2-4 weeks prior to a confirmed migration date with specific details that will need to be followed. Please note that the migration will only require limited effort on your side. For more detailed information, please refer to SAP Note 3119338.

After a successful SAP-Led migration, the NEO tenant URL will automatically forward to the new CF tenant, which will be active to use. All saved bookmarks will also be redirected to the new tenant. Meanwhile the NEO tenant will be in a suspended state. At this time, customers will be able to recreate live connections, oauth clients and more. For details concerning post-migration steps, please refer to SAP Note 3119338. If the migration does not complete then the Neo tenant will continue to be available until a new migration date can be proposed. If any issues are seen due to the migration then please raise a support case in SAP for Me and raise it to the LOD-ANA-MIG component.

 If a SAP-led migration does not meet your requirements then it is possible to complete your own migration. This can be initiated by contacting our SAP Analytics Cloud Migration Expert team directly. Please write an email to sac_migrations@sap.com.
