3663691 - During settlement error FAA_POST070 is issued due to deactivated depreciation area on the recieving asset

Symptom

  • Error message FAA_POST070: "It is not possible to post as asset xxx for area xx is already deactivated."
  • Fixed asset was deactivated for depreciation area xx or accounting principle XX, preventing further postings in that area or accounting principle.
  • WBS settlement to the fixed asset fails when the depreciation area is deactivated.
