While using Edit mode for Latest People Profile is noted that Event/Event Reason are cleared when the record effective date is re-selected.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
- Latest People Profile
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to User profile
- Select Job information and edit data via Edit UI or via History
- Create a new record starting at any date.
- Select an event and an event reason.
- Change the date.
Result: The event and event reason fields are cleared.
Cause
This is a known issue.
Resolution
The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
