3663830 - BP Synchronization Fails due to Tax Number Format Mismatch for Brazil (CPF) – Error "Cód.imposto 2 is longer than 11 characters" (AR103) in S/4HANA

When synchronizing employee data to Business Partner (BP) roles using report /SHCM/R_EMPL_HANDLE_BPROLES, the process fails or clears the tax number (CPF) with error message:

Cód.imposto 2 is longer than 11 characters
Message No. AR103

The error occurs because the tax number in HR contains formatting characters (e.g., “.” and “-”) or exceeds the maximum length expected by the BP configuration for country Brazil.

Additionally, the BP record, including supplier roles (FLVN00, FLVN01), may have its tax number deleted if the corresponding value is missing or in an incorrect format in the employee's infotype.
