3663872 - No validation against date field format in Latest People Profile - 2H 2025

While editing records in Latest people profile is noted that system allows you hit save even when a date field has incorrect format. For example:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
  • Latest People Profile

1. Go to employee profile
2. Select a portlet with a date type field
3. Set a date with incorrect date format
4. A validation will appear and field will become red as is invalid entry
5. Click save

Result: System allow you to save, however is noted afterwards that value for date field will not be saved.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
