3663979 - Filters of the query in import job disappeared after saving or query panel closes automatically based on SQL database in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Filters in the import job based on SQL disappear after being added manually and saved.
• Upon editing the same query again, the filters are not retained.
• Query creation panel closes automatically.

• SAP Analytics Cloud  (Enterprise)

1. Access the SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.
2. Navigate to the Model.
3. Go to the Data Management workspace.
4. Select the import job.
5. Click the button to open the Build JDBC Plugin Query panel.
6. Add dimension to the filter panel and set value.
7. Click OK to save the query.
8. Edit the same query again and observe that the filter has disappeared.

Or

1. Create a new model based on SQL Database.
2. After selecting the connection.
3. The query panel appears and closes automatically.

Please do not save the queries if you notice that the filters and selected columns information is missing as saving will lead to a loss of this information and likely cause issues during imports.

If a query needs to be edited before the fix, please make sure the selected columns information and filters have loaded correctly before saving otherwise do not save.  A good rule of thumb to use is that if you see an editor for editing import query jobs that lets you select multiple tables and has a toggle labeled "Auto Linking", do not proceed with editing the query.”
