Symptom

Actions (Setting Gear) button not showing for one of the Competency/Skill mapped to a role in Job Profile Builder Content.

  • Unable to Remove competency/Skill showing mapped to a role.
  • Unable to map behavior to a Competency in Job Profile Content.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Job Profile Content
  2. Select the Family and the corresponding Role to identify the competency
  3. Notice that the Action icon is missing

Cause

Competency/Skill is mapped to the Family. A Competency/Skill mapped to the Family will show up with the Role also.

Resolution

Competency is mapped to the family instead of the role so any changes should be done from Family-Competency mapping. 

Note

As of 2605 release, it is possible to remove family-mapped attributes from role.
