Symptom

The Teams Meeting field/flag is not visible during the appointment creation process in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.

Environment

  • Microsoft Teams Integration
  • SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 system.
  2. Navigate to the appointment creation screen.
  3. Select the "Meeting" category.
  4. Observe that the Teams Meeting flag is not displayed.

Cause

  • The Teams Integration requires matching email domains between the administrator providing consent and the user.
  • Strict CSRF settings block third-party cookies, preventing Teams access from the SAP application.

Resolution

  1. Ensure that the administrator providing consent and the user have matching email domains.
    • Consent must be provided for each domain individually.
    • Note that only the latest consent is saved, and previous consents are overwritten.
  2. Perform the consent process again as an administrator:
    • Log in to tenant.
    • Navigate to the Teams Integration screen.
    • Enable required features under "Share Workspace and Deal Room" and "Teams Meeting".
    • Start the consent process, select the Teams account, and accept.
    • Verify the message: "Consent Successful!".
  3. Set the SAP Sales and Service Cloud app as allowed:
    • Log in to the Microsoft Teams admin portal.
    • Navigate to "Teams apps" > "Manage apps".
    • Search for "SAP Sales and Service Cloud" and ensure its status is set to "Allowed".
    • Verify that the affected user has the same email address in both the Microsoft 365 account and the SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.
  4. Change the CSRF token setting to "None" to allow third-party cookies:
    • Log in to tenant as an administrator.
    • Navigate to the user profile and access the CSRF settings.
    • Set the mode to "None" and save.
