3664055 - SUM: Error during TCI inclusion in phase PREP_EXTENSION/CPK_INCLUSION

Symptom

  • During the upgrade of SAP system from S4/HANA 1909 to S4/HANA 2023 FP02, the following error occurs:

    "4EETQ399 TCI inclusion failed, rc = '12', reason = 'Correction instructions 0020751259 1 0001623811 version 0001 does not exist'."
    "1EETQ399 Last generated error message is: Error during TCI inclusion. Return Code = 12, Reason = 'Correction instructions 0020751259 1 0001623811 version 0001 does not exist', check log file 'SPDA_CPKINCLUSION.LOG' for details!"

  • The issue occurs in the phase PREP_EXTENSION/CPK_INCLUSION during the Software Update Manager (SUM) process.
