3664131 - Composable Storefront Spartacus npm error 400 Bad Request

Symptom

During the build of Composable Storefront 221121.x one may face such issues:

while using "yarn"

error Couldn't find package "@spartacus/asm" on the "npm" registry


or

while using "yarn"

error Couldn't find package "@spartacus/<library>" on the "npm" registry


or

while using "npm"

npm error 400 Bad Request - GET https://73554900100900004337.npmsrv.base.repositories.cloud.sap///73554900100900004337.npmsrv.base.repositories.cloud.sap/:_auth=<npmcredentialsfromrbsc>=/@spartacus%<library>


which results in a Composable Storefront build being failed.

First two error messages may indicate another issue described here: 3412394 - Builds failing with error: "Couldn't find package "@spartacus/asm". It is advised to additionally test the build using "npm".

Using "npm" generates more detailed log regarding the issue.

Additionally, all previous versions of Composable Storefront - 2211.x - may finish successfully, without any build errors.
