Symptom

You are using the inbound SOAP service Stock Transfer Partial Receipt Advice – from Warehouse (B2B) (Technical name: WAREHOUSESTOCKTRANSFERPARTIAL1) to post partial goods receipt for an inbound delivery with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management.

The following table lists the restrictions that apply when using this service:

Use Case	Restriction
Batch management	You must specify batch split items in the corresponding inbound delivery to post a partial goods receipt. You can create batch split items in an inbound delivery in the following ways: Use the app Create Inbound Delivery to create batch split items. Use the inbound SOAP service Inbound Delivery – Create (B2B). Use the app Change Inbound Delivery to modify batch split items. Specify the delivery quantity and supplier batch when creating batch split items. You can enter the internal batch number if known when using the apps Create Inbound Delivery or Change Inbound Delivery.
Batch management	You cannot create missing batch split items with a partial goods receipt.
Manually changing inbound deliveries	If you have already used this service to post partial goods receipt, you cannot manually change inbound deliveries using the app Change Inbound Delivery.

Required configuration for changing inbound deliveries after distribution to a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management system

To enable the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition ERP system to change a delivery after initial distribution to a 3PL warehouse management system, carry out the following procedure:

In the configuration environment, go to the configuration activity Configure SAP 3PL-Specific Parameters (ID: 106429).
Set the option Deliv.Chg (Delivery Change Enabled) for the relevant 3PL-managed warehouses by activating the checkbox.
