Symptom

The error message "You are not authorized to display change documents" appears when attempting to view the change history for production orders in the Display Change Documents application.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the application "Display Change Documents".
  2. Enter the work order-related object parameters.
  3. Observe the error message "You are not authorized to display change documents".

Cause

Standard functionality to check change history of production orders is currently not available in the system.

Resolution

The feature request is available in the Customer influence portal Checking Change History of production orders in the S/4HANA public Cloud system. Upvoting it can support its consideration for future enhancements.
