Symptom

When attempting to delete a master data entry (product/location XXXX/XXXX) in SAP IBP, the following error appears:

  • Prod./loc. XXXX/XXXX referenced by historical network in scen./sim. XXXXX

This occurs after the master data was marked for deletion and a Supply Planning Run job was executed to remove vetoes. The deletion was attempted via the Manage Master Data app or through the Order-Based Planning: Delete Master Data application job.
