Symptom

Attempting to open the configuration activity "Assign Plant and Storage Location to Service Employee and Country/Region (ID: 102883)" returns an error: "No authorization to start the UI for transaction S_ER1_83000006".

Environment

Cause

Business Catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_S4CRM_SO0_PC is not assigned to Business Role BR_BPC_EXPERT. The assignment of business catalogs to business roles does not happen automatically after the upgrade but needs to be performed manually.

Resolution

Add the Business Catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_S4CRM_SO0_PC to Business Role BR_BPC_EXPERT.
