3665041 - Individual Performance % is not updated by Offline Edit in Executive Review when changing custom field - SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

Symptom

  • You are having a custom field configured for guideline that effects the Individual Performance % field.
  • When data is manually updated from the UI for a custom field, the Individual Performance % (performancePercent) updates correctly with the default value.  
  • However, when using the Import feature from the Executive Review, while guidelines are updated, the default value for Individual Performance % (performancePercent) is not populating correctly.  

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the Executive Review and open the Variable Pay Template.  
  2. Export the data for offline editing.  
  3. Provide a rating in the custom field configured for guideline that effects the Individual Performance % field.
  4. Observe that the rating and guidelines are updated, but the default value for Individual Performance % (performancePercent) remains default. 

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Workaround

  • Please make sure to configure the performance percentage column as read-only.

OR

  • Update the field in the UI in Executive Review instead of using the Offline Edit.
