3665074 - Error in Financial Data Extraction Run due to Inclusion of Non-Financial Reports

• An error occurs during the Financial Data Extraction Run when the Supplier Details report (BUPSPP_Q0001) is included in the Reporting Package.
• The error message displayed is: "Report execution failed. Start the Extraction Run again."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Extraction Run for Financial Data view.
3. Show all Data Extraction Runs and search for the specific run, YYYY-XX-ZZZZZZZZZ (where YYYY-XX-ZZZZZZZZZ is the Financial Data Extraction ID ZZZZZZZZZ for the relevant Fiscal Year YYYY and period XX). 
4. Open the run and switch to the Messages tab.
5. Filter for Message Category 3 - Error.

Observe the error message: "Report execution failed. Start the Extraction Run again."

• The Supplier Details report (BUPSPP_Q0001) is not a Financial Report and does not contain financial transactions.
• The Financial Data Extraction Run is designed to process only Financial Reports (those starting with FIN...). Including non-Financial Reports such as Supplier Details into the Reporting Package leads to execution failure.

1. Ensure that only Financial Reports (those starting with FIN) are included in the Reporting Package for the Financial Data Extraction Run.
2. Exclude non-Financial Reports, such as Supplier Details (BUPSPP_Q0001), from the Reporting Package.
