3665198 - Column hiding is not supported in forecast layout table structure in SAC

The 'hide column' function is not available in the forecast layout table structure. However, this functionality works as expected in the cross tab table structure.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. In story, create a table and set table structure to 'forecast layout'
2. right-click a column on table
3. No 'hide column' option displayed

This behavior is by design.

Column/row hiding is disabled for the columns/rows containing version or time dimension in forecast layout. When creating or updating forecast layout, hidden columns/rows will be cleared and recreated again. By doing so, the hidden columns/rows created by users will be lost as well. Therefore it isn't possible to hide columns and rows for version and time dimension but all other dimension will be supported. This special case exists only for the forecast layout.
