3665252 - EWM Does not Perform UoM Conversions Automatically for Related Units

Symptom

A Unit of Measure conversion similar to this is maintained in /SCWM/MAT1:

  • 12 KG <=> 1.000 M

When distributing a delivery to EWM with the same product but with a different unit of measure (MM for example), it is expected that EWM will perform the calculation to transform MM to M. However, the queue gets stuck in SMQ2 with an error message stating:

  • "Item &1: Different convers. factor between base and sales UoM not allowed"
  • Message no. /SCWM/DELIVERY514
