3665408 - Suffix Field Value is not Auto Populating for Internal Candidates - Onboarding

Symptom

Suffix field value is not auto populating for internal candidates.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to Onboarding as the manager.
  2. Navigate to Review New Hire Data of the internal candidate.
  3. Click on it to complete it.
  4. Notice that fields like suffix don't have a value even though it was sent from RCM.

Cause

Expected behavior.

Resolution

Below is a list of entities we support the sending of data from Recruiting.

  • Job_Info
  • Comp_Info
  • Employment_Info
  • Job_Relations_Info
  • Pay_Component_Recurring
  • Pay_Component_Non_Recurring 

For other entities like Personal Information, you must maintain the value in Employee Central. When the system will pull that data during the manager's review steps it will populate.
