Symptom

  • In SAP Data Services Management Console, under 'Adapter Instance Status' the next error displays:
    Job server XXX:3500 is not accessible. Socket Closed.
  • When executing a job in SAP Data Services Management Console, the following message appears:
    Exception thrown when trying to communicate with Job Server XXX:3500. Socket Closed.
