3665460 - MDF child objects displays inconsistent titles between Legacy and Latest People Profile in SuccessFactors

Symptom

  • MDF objects are showing different record titles between Legacy People Profile and Latest People Profile.
  • In the Legacy People Profile, the child's external name is displayed as the label field.
  • In the Latest People Profile, the record title is displayed as "Record 1", "Record 2", etc.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to People Profile
  2. Observe the label object behavior in the Legacy People Profile, where the child's external name is displayed as the label configured on the object.
  3. Switch to the Latest People Profile and observe that the record title is displayed as "record 1", "record 2", etc., and the label is shown below.

Cause

This is expected behavior, as per UX design.

Resolution

In the Latest People Profile, additional title of each of the child record is now shown. The external name of child MDF objects is not designed to populate on the title of each box.

Instead 'Record' will be shown and the external name will be displayed below.
