3665543 - Custom attachment field visible to employee despite permission restriction in Employee Time object

A custom field attachment, created in the Employee Time object, is visible to employees even when the field is set as "no access" in permissions.

Make sure you don't have the permission for the field, then:

1. Create a custom field like "cust_attachment" in the Employee Time object;
2. Set the field's visibility for employee to "no access";
3. Have an employee raise a leave request and attach a document;
4. Proxy as the employee with no access and navigate to the team absence calendar;
5. Click on the leave request of the employee reporting;
6. Observe that the restricted employee can view the attachment despite the permission restriction "no access".

The target population is only considered for the Employee Time object. The target population is not considered for field level permission.

• This is expected behavior. You can't restrict an employee to view custom fields in the object even with the Administrator Permissions having the option "View/Edit All/Edit Time Off" enabled. This is by standard design.
