• Error message: "You can’t request full day time off outside of the planned working time."

SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Management

1. Attempt to register an absence for Employee within their flexitime bandwidth, but outside of their planned working time, ensuring the "full day" box is not checked.
2. Set the hours in the partial day absence to the same amount of the planned working time of the employee (e.g. the employee has planned working time from 9am to 5pm, and you are trying to create a leave from 10am to 6pm).
3. See error message "You can’t request full day time off outside of the planned working time."

Even though he "Full Day" box is not checked, the amount of hours in the leave is the same as the user planned working time, so this is still considered a full day absence.

• Only partial day can be entered within the flextime bandwidth. If an absence is requested outside the flextime bandwidth, an error is raised.

• Full day absences can only be requested within the planned working time.

• If there are multiple partial day absences in a day, then the total absence duration for that day cannot exceed the planned working time duration.

Ensure the partial day absence does not exceed the total planned working time duration for the employee.
