How to manage Units of Measure Adapter Source in Parent-Child realms? 

By default in a multi-variant FPC environment (Parent-child realm), the out-of-the-box Units of Measure (UOM) are all loaded in the Parent realm and replicated to all child realms. That creates UOM records in both child realms with a Replicated Adapter Source, which means this data cannot be maintained separetdly in the child realms as parent is the source of truth. 

How can I manage UOM in two child realms to have a different set of units of measure loaded on each one?
