3665722 - Unable to change the language of a plant in configuration 'Define Plant'

Symptom

  • The language of the plant appears greyed out in configuration node 'Define Plant' (SSCUI 105877) 

Environment

SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  • Call the 'Define Plant' configuration (SSCUI 105877)
  • On the 'Define Plant' page the language is not open for editing 

Cause

Standard system behaviour 

Resolution

  1. Access the "Define Plant" configuration (SSCUI 105877).
  2. Navigate to the "Define Plant" page.
  3. Click the "Address" tab.
  4. Proceed to the "Communication" tab.
  5. Change the language and press "Return".
  6. Return to the "Define Plant" page. The language appears unchanged.
  7. Click "Save".
  8. Verify that the language has been updated after saving.

    ** The user role will need business catalog "SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_MM_IM0_PC" assigned.
