Symptom

When using the Reimagined Candidate experience, trigger "Application Updated By Candidate" is not working or sending the Status triggered email instead.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Apply for a position and Save application
  2. As Candidate, update the Application and Save
  3. The trigger "Application Updated By Candidate" is not sending the email to the Recruiter
  4. Instead the Recruiter is receiving the Status triggered email of the status where the Candidate is currently on

Resolution

This is only happening when the Reimagined Candidate experience is enabled.

The Engineering Team has fixed the issue and it will be available in release H2 2025:
for Preview Environment on 13th October, 2025
for Production Environment on 14th November, 2025
