3665896 - Approval Process Enabled but EMME Records Still Not Editable After Synchronization

Symptom

The approval process has been activated in SAP Field Service Management for EMME records such as:

  • Time Effort
  • Material
  • Mileage
  • Expense

After a technician creates an EMME record and synchronizes the mobile application, the record can no longer be edited. However, the approval process is successfully enabled — meaning the EMME record should normally remain editable at this stage.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
